Obituary of Zahir Elijah Boykin

Zahir Elijah Boykin, 1, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. Born in Columbia, SC he was the son of Shawn Akil Boykin and Rachel Dakota Bond. Zahir was a happy little boy, always laughing and greeting everyone with a “Hey! Whats up?” Zahir loved to play hide-n-seek, watch Paw Patrol, play with bubbles. He loved to eat noodles, grits, ketchup and yogurt. He will be truly missed by all those left behind.

Left to cherish his memories in addition to his parents, is his baby brother that is expected in June, Zaiden Zahir Boykin; paternal grandmother, Yvette Grecia; maternal grandparents, Duane and Tammy Bond; paternal great grandparents, Mary and Lloyd Grecia; maternal great grandmother, Roma Bond; aunts and uncles, Katlin Bond, Randy Bond and Amahri Boykin (Josh); and cousins, Paige Underwood, Annabelle Underwood, Malechkai White, Serenity White and Thomas Bond.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Galen and Donna Pound; and Great-Aunt, Ida Washington.
