Graveside services for Vitezslav (Victor) Klominsky, 80, will be held on Tuesday, March 25,2025 at 11:00 am at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, 11020 Two Notch Rd, Elgin.
Victor passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. He was born in Hermanuv Mestec, Czech Republic, the son of the late Bretislav and Anna Duskova Klominsky.
Victor served in both the Czech and US Army as a cook. He emigrated to the US in 1969 with his wife and daughter. In 1970 they had a son. He studied and received his GED while also working. He was a devoted family man who worked hard to provide for his family.
Victor enjoyed gardening, reading and watching shows about WWII, and collecting stamps. He was an excellent chef who enjoyed cooking for his family. His biggest dream was to own his own restaurant, a dream he achieved.
Victor is survived by his wife of 57 years, Blanka Krcmarikova Klominsky, of Elgin; daughter, Radka Langley (William), of Lugoff; son, Thomas Klominsky (Sharon Simonds-Edwards), of Elgin; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kylie Klominsky and brother, Bretislav Klominsky, of Czech Republic.
Victor was predeceased by his sister, Adriana Chmeliarova.
