Obituary
Daniel Aubrey Davis, 64, of Elgin, SC passed away Wednesday morning, October 7, 2026 to be with the Lord.
Aubrey was preceded in death by his mother Annie Lavinia “Polly” Lucas Davis (whom he cherished dearly) and his father Ramsey Ashley Davis.
Aubrey leaves behind an older half-brother, Joe Sanders, a sister Beverly Hogston, another sister Sandra Thomas and a younger sister Shelby Roof. Aubrey also leaves behind half brothers and sisters, Steven, Stephanie, Stacy, Stuart, Melanie and Madlyn and nieces and nephews.
Aubrey was a machinist by trade and worked at his father’s business, Davis Plating & Machine Shop, Elgin Machine Shop and for FN Manufacturing.
Aubrey attended the First Baptist Church of Elgin, where he enjoyed the service and interacted with the members of the church congregation. Aubrey was a believer and had read the Bible many times over and would always discuss scriptures from the Bible.
A private service will be held and Aubrey will be laid to rest at GreenHaven Memorial Gardens beside his mother.
