Bonnie Sue Evans Obituary

LUGOFF – Mrs. Bonnie Sue Evans passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026. Born in Siler City, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Byron J. Andrews, Sr. and Naomi Phillips Andrews. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending church, reading and shopping. She was a member of Sonrise Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband, Stonewall Jackson Evans, Jr.; sons, Andrew Wayne Evans (Gabby) and Christopher M. Evans (Rachel); grandchildren, Alexie Evans, Laken Evans, Elijah Evans, Ellody Evans, Carissa Evans, Isabelle Evans, and Scarlett Evans; sister, Brenda Moody; sisters-in-law, Sheila Montemayer and Sharon Deal (Gary); nieces and nephews, Christie Bright (Anthony), Kevin Moody (Michelle), Meiah Montemayer, Angel Jones, Michelle Jones; great nieces and nephews, Cole Moody, Olivia Clayton (Dustin), Natalie Diekhoff (Braxton), Tiffne Stewart, Autumn Wheeler (Dan), Karra Tice, Alyssa Alverez, Evan Tice, Kaleb Tice, Mateo Alvarez; and great-great niece, Georgia Diekhoff. She was predeceased by her brother, Byron J. Andrews, Jr.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 11:00 am at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, SC with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
